Two Teenagers Review a Family Eco-Tour Canoe Trip on the Sammamish River near Redmond, WA

A family with 2 teenagers recently went on a 3-hour tour looking at various animals and birds along the Sammamish River near Redmond, WA. Interestingly, one of the main "lessons learned" on this quiet river was for the teenagers to get a "comfort level" being on the water in a canoe -- because the river is a safe environment. This is what the brother and sister had to say about it:

“A fun-filled canoe ride down the Sammamish Slough! Dave was entertaining, time passed quickly, and I learned a lot.”  Tommy, 15 year old teenager

"When I went on Dave's canoe with him and my family it was a little scary at first because to tell you the truth, I'm actually afraid of any type of boat. But I decided to try something new, and going with Dave was the perfect start! It was really fun because he taught me how to paddle and how it was actually really hard to tip the boat. And his funny stories and singing made it even better!"  Aubrey, Tommy's 13-year-old sister

A relaxing, entertaining and interestingly educational canoe river trip close to the Red Hook Brewery and the Columbia River and Chateau Ste. Michelle wineries, and next to The Herb Farm restaurant, Willows Lodge, Barking Frog Restaurant, Willows Run Golf Course, 60 Acres youth soccer field and the Burke Gilman bike trail in Woodinville and Redmond, WA.
